Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) hosts the first day of this challenge which includes; team registrations, inspection of vehicles, braking and maneuverability competitions, car show, and the annual advisors meeting. FVTC emphasizes hands-on occupational training for specific careers that are in demand. Serving about 50,000 people each year, FVTC provides a comprehensive curriculum of technical, adult basic education and continuing education, as well as customized employee training.
Wisconsin International Raceway (WIR) hosts the second day of this challenge which includes; challenge runs and awards.
- WIR's track is 1/2 mile oval course which is relatively rough. Mouth guards are recommended for the drivers.
- The pit area is on the infield. Entry and exit from that area will be regulated closely and may be limited. Please plan on being there on time and leaving AFTER the awards ceremony in mid-late afternoon.
- Please tell your team's parents, sponsors, and fans about the limited infield access and ask them to plan accordingly.
- All participants and spectators must stay off the track.
- The track is ONE WAY ONLY in a counter-clockwise direction. Any vehicles traveling the wrong way will be disqualified and removed from the facility.
- Please be respectful of the event venue and clean up your area before you leave.
